Stage 01

Stage 02
The feed is dried, sized and densified to a fixed specification. This is the unglamorous half of the plant, and the half that decides whether the other half runs.
Stage 03
Prepared biomass is converted into an energy-dense intermediate — syngas or alcohol — through an internationally certified licensed process.
Stage 04
Catalysis builds the intermediate into liquid hydrocarbon chains, which are then hydroprocessed and fractionated into the jet range.
Stage 05
The fuel is tested to aviation specification, blended with conventional jet fuel within certified limits, and delivered into the airport supply chain.
Feedstock
Nothing edible is diverted and no land is converted. The plant runs on by-products of food production, aggregated within a defined radius to keep both cost and transport emissions down.
The fibrous residue left after cane is crushed. Already aggregated at mill gates, which makes it the easiest tonne to buy.

Processing residue from one of Maharashtra's largest oilseed crops, available in volume through the year rather than in one window.

Impact
Crop residue is burned because the field has to be clear for the next sowing and there is rarely a buyer within economic distance. A fuel plant needs that residue, which turns a disposal problem into a purchase order.
Where it goes
Certified blending components go to airlines and fuel suppliers under long-term offtake, with emissions reductions claimable under ICAO's CORSIA framework.4
Where it comes from
Origin records, mass-balance accounting and third-party audit run the length of the chain of custody. Without that evidence, the fuel is worth less.4
